Physics 30 Vectors Exam

On Tuesday, March 15 we will be writing our Physics 30 Vectors Exam. The exam will be 6 problems and very similar in format to your review. Be sure that you know how to add vectors using scale diagrams and using algebraic addition (including vector resolution).

This next week there are many things going on!

First up, there is a Math 10 exam on Trigonometry. That exam is on Tuesday, March 8. Finish and get your practice test signed for a bonus mark!

Next up, is a Math B30 Exam. The B30 exam is on Unit 2 and will be written on Wed, March 9. The exam covers 2.2-2.7. You can find the answers to the review here: PAGE 1, PAGE 2

There is a Kinematics Exam on Wed., March 2. The exam will cover everything we have done so far. Here are the answers to the review: PAGE 1 PAGE 2

If you complete the entire review (you must show work for the multiple choice) and get it signed by a parent/guardian you will receive a bonus mark on your exam.

Math 10 Exam

There is a Math 10 FpC exam on Thursday, Feb. 17. This covers the measurement unit. The main ideas are unit conversion, surface area, and volume.

If students complete the Practice Test from the textbook (showing all necessary work) AND get the test signed by a parent/guardian, then they will receive a bonus on their exam mark.

Math B30 Probability Exam

There is a Math B30 Probability and the Binomial Theorem Exam on Tuesday, February 15. The format will be similar to the review format. You will be provided with the same formulas as are on the review. Finish your review, showing all work, and get it signed by a parent/guardian to earn a bonus mark on the exam.

Physics 20 Intro Exam

HERE are the answers to the Physics 20 intro review. Both classes are writing the exam on Thursday, February 10.

A reminder of the Why the Fizz? Assignment. It is due for all Physics 20 students on Thurs, Feb. 17. Please, ask any questions you may have about it.

Also, to get a bonus mark on your exam you must complete the review with work shown AND have it signed by your parent/guardian. You must hand it in BEFORE the exam!
