I have moved the Exam to Thursday, Dec. 3. Now the Hand-in #6 is due Tuesday. You will not receive more class time after Thursday's class, but now you have more time to practice the concepts.
Also, I have now posted the answers to the Multiple Choice section of the review. You can find them here. The main page of the review, I will not provide answers for. Those questions are more for your contemplation. If you are having trouble with them, please, speak with me or email/comment on the blog about the question.

Physics 30 Exam
Our next Physics 30 exam will be on Wed, Dec. 2. This way it won't be a rush before the exam. You will have a hand-in assignment #6 due Friday, Nov. 27 by NOON. This way I can have that marked and returned to you before your exam. Any later time, and I will not be able to return it to you before the exam.
In Physics 30, you will begin the Electricity Unit on Friday afternoon. You will be doing a short research paper (1 page) due next Friday, Dec. 4.
Have a good week(end)! Go Riders!!

Updates
This upcoming week there will be 2 or 3 exams.
Physics 20 - Light and Plane Mirrors Exam will be on Tuesday. After this we will move on to curved mirrors and their cool applications.
Math C30 - we will wrap up our Solving Triangles unit and write an exam on Thursday. Then we move into Trig Identities. It is a crazy chapter, but I think we will enjoy it. We are getting close to the end of the course!
Physics 30 - I said exam on Friday, Nov 27. This may not happen, but we should be prepared for the chance that it will. We only have a few sections to cover for Mechanics and then we can move on to Electricity.
In Math 10 and A30 we are not having a test this week. In Math 10 we will be starting Sequences and Series right away and there will be an exam during the week to follow. In Math A30 we have plunged into the MASSIVE Exponents and Radicals chapter. We won't see the light at the end of this unit for a while!
Thanks for stopping by. GO RIDERS!!!

Exams and Smores
Physics 30 will be having the second unit exam on Tuesday, Nov. 17. Please, set up a time for extra assistance if you want it.
Math A30 will have an exam on Wednesday, Nov. 18. It will cover all of chapter 4.
Physics 20. No exam coming up, but I just wanted to mention how we made smores. We tried on two different days to measure the speed of light in a microwave. The second time we melted marshmallows and chocolate chips. We found the hot spots in the microwave which correspond to antinodes in a standing wave pattern. By measuring the distance bewteen the hotspots we could find the wavelength of the microwave. Then by using the wave equation we found the speed of light! Our value was off by a bit, but it was delicious!
