Tests Before the End

There are a number of exams and quizzes that much take place before the end of the year. They are as follows:

• Soc. 7 very small exam Mon., June 22
• Sci. 7 Chapter Quiz Mon, June 22
• Math 7 Exam on final sections covered Tues., June 23

• Social 8/9 Exam Wed, June 17
• Science 8/9 Exam Fri, June 19
• Math 9 Exam Fri, June 19

Not Much is New

I don't have much new info., but I wanted to check in again this week.  

There have been a number of exams this week and the students have all got their marks back.  Some have been great and others not very good at all.  Please, make sure to ask your kids about their marks.  If you are having trouble getting their marks, feel free to call me at the school.  

After a lot of tests and quizzes, next week cools down a bit.  Math 7 will have an Integers Exam next Thursday.  After that I plan to cover a few topics from a few of the remaining chapters until the end of the year.  We will be jumping around a bit.

Awards Night marks are due mid next week, so any students planning to turn in assignments to me, NOW IS THE TIME!  I will be calculating them Monday or Tuesday next week.  

I said this would be short, and it is.  In terms of all the other classes I don't have much for specific info.  We are starting up new units and I may talk about them next week.

Reviews

Grade 7s received a review today for their Social Exam.  We will also go over more specific questions in class Tuesday.

For Science I will also direct them as to which questions they should use to study.

Math 9 students were offered the review on Monday.  Those that did not take it will have it by Tuesday.  They should complete it and ask any questions of me if they can't get any of them.  The review will prepare them well for the exam.
